| In 1985 I wrote an article
in English which appeared in 1986 on the "LEONARDO"
magazine - Pergamon Press LTD.-on SYMMETRY and ASYMMETRY in the visualization
of music - on its graphic representation, on the partitions of music:
the same articles -but with reduced material and drafting appeared
in Italian in "la musica" a "monthly magazine on contemporary
music" in 1985: in that period I was dedicating my time to the
study of music history, theory and techniques and I came to the conclusion
that with these articles I wanted to punctualize the fact that there
can be NO music if there is NO partition, if there is NO possibility
of transferring it to others - even its registration is a kind of
partiture and of visualization because it offers the chance to go
beyond its time. |
